Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports infant care routines, including feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules. Use effective behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation among infants. Collaborate with families to share insights on each child's progress and address individual needs through clear communication skills. Incorporate literacy education, early intervention techniques, and Montessori principles into daily activities to stimulate curiosity and learning. Maintain accurate records of developmental milestones, attendance, and health information in compliance with childcare standards. Ensure health and safety protocols are consistently followed to promote child welfare and a secure classroom setting. Experience Prior classroom experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to early childhood education. Experience with curriculum development tailored for infant learners, including lesson planning focused on sensory exploration and motor skills. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse developmental profiles. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and specialists such as speech therapists or occupational therapists. Knowledge of classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment while maintaining safety standards. Previous experience working in private schools or daycare centers that emphasize preschool experience or Montessori methods is highly desirable.
