In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive learning atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. Responsibilities Develop and execute creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies. Support children's emotional well-being through attentive childcare practices and child welfare principles. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress, including assessments such as standardized testing when appropriate. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans to ensure compliance with educational standards. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within preschool or daycare settings. Familiarity with working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, as well as experience in toddler care. Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and positively. Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and literacy education techniques. Proficiency in teaching physical education activities and integrating Montessori or other educational philosophies into daily routines.
