Responsibilities Create a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and hands-on learning activities. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Supervise children while maintaining all state licensing and safety standards. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's progress. Complete daily classroom documentation and reports. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working in a licensed childcare center preferred. CDA or early childhood education coursework is a plus. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must pass all required background checks. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
