Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their earliest educational experiences. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop a love for learning while supporting their individual growth through innovative teaching methods and compassionate care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster early childhood development, literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional growth. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Plan engaging lessons aligned with early intervention strategies and Montessori principles to support diverse learning needs. Support toddlers and preschoolers with specialized care techniques, including toddler care practices and classroom management strategies. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to monitor progress, share insights on child welfare, and tailor educational approaches accordingly. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to evaluate developmental milestones and learning outcomes. Incorporate physical education activities to promote healthy movement and motor skill development in young children. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices. Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and working with children in daycare or preschool settings. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Ability to design curriculum development plans that integrate literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methodologies. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring additional support through early intervention programs. Knowledge of childcare regulations, child welfare standards, and classroom experience in private or public preschool environments. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
