We are seeking a fun and outgoing Art Teacher to join our team! We are a traveling art program that teaches on-site at various preschools schools in Cedar Park and north Austin. •This is a very part-time job offering only 6-10 hours a week. Please do not apply if you're looking for more hours. Since our classes run seasonally with breaks between semesters, the art teacher role is a contract position. We are looking for someone who can teach Monday - Friday for 8-10 weeks starting in September. Weekly classes are held on-site at local schools in Cedar Park and north Austin. Each day of the week will have a different location. We typically have 2 classes a day. Curriculum, weekly lesson plans and paid training provided. Teachers must be able to commit to classes for a 10 week fall session starting in September. Our program runs seasonally throughout the year with small breaks between each semester. Class times vary depending upon location but typically fall within 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm and repeat each week. This is a 1099 independent contractor role offering a flexible schedule. We will consider candidates who are only interested in teaching a few days a week. This position is perfect for an experienced childcare professional looking for extra income that has afternoons available. Must have a love for children and be enthusiastic, outgoing, dependable and punctual. •Background check and fingerprints required for this position. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with children ages 3-6 in a preschool classroom . Art skills and art history knowledge not required, we will train you. CPR/First aid certification a plus, however, we can schedule the class for you if needed. You will be reimbursed for the cost of the class at the end of the 10 week session.
