The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe and nurturing environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children. Foster an inclusive environment by working effectively with children of varying abilities and backgrounds. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's needs and any concerns that may arise. Check in regularly with Youth and Family Minister to share ideas, concerns, and scheduling. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare space that is conducive to learning and play. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure consistent care practices. Requirements Proven experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny/babysitter. Familiarity with first aid practices; certification is preferred but not required. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Ability to provide infant care as well as toddler care effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.
