Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their development and learning. This role requires a commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere that encourages children to explore and grow. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration. Manage classroom activities, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment conducive to learning. Provide individualized attention to children, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns. Plan and execute engaging lessons that incorporate various teaching methods tailored to different learning styles. Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance on appropriate social interactions. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to education and care. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education practices. Qualifications Experience in preschool care or working with young children is preferred. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Knowledge of early intervention techniques for children with special needs is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and engage with children and parents alike. Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration among students. A background in tutoring or special education is advantageous but not required. A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their early development journey.
