Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Cypress learning center to provide high-quality early childhood education and care. As a Teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities. You will design engaging lesson plans, observe and document developmental milestones, and build strong partnerships with families. In our inclusive and collaborative culture, you'll receive training, support, and opportunities for advancement while making a meaningful impact on children's lives every day. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly and professionally with families about child progress and center activities. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards. Follow center policies, state regulations, and licensing requirements. Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership to support program goals. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Required Skills Classroom management Early childhood curriculum planning Lesson planning Child observation and assessment Parent communication Child safety and supervision Behavior management Basic computer skills Record keeping and documentation First aid and CPR knowledge
