In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of children to and from our daycare center, as well as providing compassionate assistance in daily classroom activities. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a nurturing environment where children feel secure, engaged, and supported in their developmental journey. Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from the daycare center, field trips, and scheduled activities, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Assist in supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support classroom management by engaging children in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, and social interactions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns that arise. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes childhood development and learning. Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of neglect or abuse to appropriate authorities. Assist with basic childcare tasks such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed. Experience Previous experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or child safety is strongly recommended. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Prior experience driving children safely in a designated vehicle or school bus is advantageous but not required.
