Starting at $8-9 per hour Job Overview Building Blocks of Hope Learning Center is a licensed family home childcare program seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Provider to work with children ages 3-5. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. If you love reading stories, singing songs, leading creative activities, and helping young learners build confidence, we would love to meet you! Schedule Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM 8-hour workday with a 2-hour unpaid break Responsibilities Supervise and engage children ages 3-5 throughout the day. Lead circle time, music, and movement activities. Read books daily to encourage language and literacy development. Plan and assist with arts and crafts. Support age-appropriate learning through play and hands-on activities. Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Follow all licensing standards and center policies. Communicate professionally with families and coworkers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with young children is preferred but not required. Must enjoy singing, reading aloud, and leading creative activities. Positive attitude with a heart for children. Reliable with excellent attendance. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must pass all required background checks.
