Daycare teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics effectively. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles. Experience in daycare or early childhood education settings. First aid certification is preferred. Ability to provide infant care with compassion and attention to detail. Proficient in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs. Experience working with students with disabilities is an asset. Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing individual needs. Ability to engage toddlers through creative play and educational activities. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
