The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities while ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress in various areas of development, including social skills, language, and motor skills. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that meets health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities as required. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning environment. First aid certification is highly desirable to ensure the safety of all children in care. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or preschool settings is beneficial. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with parents, staff, and children. Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play. Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter can be advantageous for this role.
