Job Description

Overview Join Little Scholars Academy as an Early Childhood Educator and be a vital part of nurturing young minds in a vibrant, supportive environment! In this role, you will create engaging, safe, and enriching classroom experiences for children at various developmental stages. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire curiosity, foster growth, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Responsibilities Must be available to work anytime between 6am and 6pm. Manage classroom activities to promote active learning and positive behavior management strategies Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support childhood development and early education standards Ensure the safety and well-being of children through diligent supervision and adherence to health protocols, including first aid procedures Foster inclusive environments that support children with special education needs and encourage social-emotional growth Engage children in creative play, storytelling, arts, sports coaching, theater activities, and other stimulating experiences Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress and behavior in a professional manner Support the overall operation of the daycare by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing regulations Skills Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp settings, or tutoring environments Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and effective behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and community partners such as Christian counselors or childcare specialists Join us at Little Scholars Academy where your passion for working with children makes a difference every day!
