Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead a classroom of energetic toddlers, foster a nurturing and stimulate environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development. Your leadership will inspire young minds, support their emotional and social well-being, and ensure a safe, engaging space for learning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years while working alongside passionate educators committed to excellence in childcare and early childhood education. This is a leadership role - not an assistant position. Duties Lead daily classroom activities tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers, encouraging exploration and learning through play-based methods Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in accordance with early childhood education standards Oversee classroom management to create a positive, organized environment that supports children's safety and well-being Foster strong relationships with children and their families through clear communication, regular updates, and collaborative engagement Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and health guidelines Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive caregiving strategies Mentor and supervise assistant teachers or caregivers, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the classroom Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is essential Demonstrated classroom management skills in a toddler care environment Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for early childhood education Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Proven ability to engage children through nurturing caregiving, teaching, and play-based learning strategies Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to infant care, toddler care, and daycare operations Join us as a Lead Toddler Teacher to ignite young minds in a lively, supportive setting where your passion for teaching makes a lasting difference!
Pay:
