Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After Care Professional to join our team. We're in the exciting final stretch of launching Forbes Academy, our plans are moving forward and we're securing our campus site now. We're building our founding team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for students after school hours. You will engage with children in various activities, ensuring their well-being while promoting educational and recreational growth. Your experience in early childhood education or related fields will be invaluable as you support the development of our students. Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of students during after care hours. Organize educational and recreational activities, including arts, crafts, sports, and tutoring sessions. Provide support to students with homework and academic projects. Educate students on social skills, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Assist children with special needs by implementing individualized strategies for success. Maintain a clean and organized environment that fosters learning and creativity. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive after care experience. Qualifications Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting is preferred. Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain a productive environment. Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is a plus. Experience in tutoring or supporting academic growth is beneficial. Skills in theater or sports coaching can enhance engagement activities. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Why Join Forbes Academy?
