Dino Land Academy is currently seeking caring, energetic, and dependable Pre-K Teachers who have a genuine passion for working with young children. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports early childhood development and school readiness. Position Summary The Pre-K Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote childrens cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while ensuring a structured and positive classroom environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach foundational early learning skills including: Establish and maintain classroom rules and routines to promote positive behavior and classroom order. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet individual learning styles and developmental needs. Provide hands-on learning opportunities through creative play, exploration, and structured activities. Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being. Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional and childcare licensing guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress and needs. Follow all childcare licensing regulations, safety policies, and center procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required No prior experience required training provided for the right candidate CPR Certification required or willingness to obtain after hire Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential preferred but not required Passion for working with young children Strong patience, communication, and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and move actively throughout the day Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs as needed Comfortable working in an active childcare environment Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check. (Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background will not be considered for employment.)
