Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere, and support children's developmental milestones through innovative teaching methods. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to daily schedules Support children with special needs through tailored early intervention strategies and inclusive teaching practices Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to communicate children's progress and address individual needs Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences for preschool-aged children Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management Proficiency in working with children across diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and preschoolers Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a safe learning environment Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment Experience with childcare settings such as daycare or private schools is highly desirable Skills in teaching physical education and literacy education to young learners Understanding of Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is a plus Join us in creating joyful learning experiences that empower children to thrive!
