Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. This role involves caring for children in a safe, nurturing environment while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and the ability to create engaging activities that foster learning and growth. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Assist with daily routines including meals, nap times, and personal hygiene. Provide emotional support and guidance to help children develop social skills. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Observe children's behavior and development, implementing behavior management strategies as needed. Skills Experience in babysitting or working with children in various settings such as daycare or preschool. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages. Familiarity with toddler care practices and behavior management techniques. Basic first aid certification is preferred to ensure child safety. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Patience, creativity, and the ability to engage children in meaningful activities.
