The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. This role involves implementing developmentally appropriate activities, supporting children's emotional and physical needs, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. The Childcare Educator will work closely with children, parents, and team members to promote early childhood development and ensure high-quality care. Responsibilities Plan and facilitate age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and improve classroom practices Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare standards Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices Experience with classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving techniques Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid is highly desirable; ongoing training in early childhood education is encouraged Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Previous experience in infant care, toddler care, or nannying enhances suitability for this role
