FUNCARE CHILDREN'S CENTER

Infant Teacher 6-4, ONLY 4 BABIES, 4 STAR CENTER!

Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher dedicated to nurturing and inspiring our youngest learners! This specialized role is designed for passionate educators who thrive in a small, intimate classroom environment—caring for only four infants at a time (5 if over 1). As an Infant Teacher at our esteemed center, you will create a warm, engaging space where babies can explore, develop essential skills, and feel secure. Your expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning through thoughtful curriculum development, personalized care, and meaningful interactions. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of little ones and their families every single day! Duties Implement age-appropriate curricula focusing on early childhood development, literacy education, and physical activity tailored to infants' needs. Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and emotional well-being of each infant in your small group. Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and consistency. Engage in child development instruction that promotes cognitive growth, motor skills, socialization, and emotional regulation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns transparently. Maintain accurate records of each infant's growth, health status, and daily activities in compliance with childcare standards. Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood or infant care settings; classroom experience preferred. Knowledge of curriculum development techniques specific to early childhood education and special education needs. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood development is highly valued. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for infants and toddlers to promote positive social interactions. Ability to follow standardized testing protocols related to early childhood assessment when applicable. Passion for teaching physical education concepts appropriate for infants and promoting overall child welfare. Join us if you're eager to inspire young minds through dedicated teaching, innovative lesson planning, and compassionate childcare! We are committed to supporting your professional growth while providing a rewarding environment where your efforts truly make a difference in children's lives.
