In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants from six weeks old. Your expertise in early childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management will help foster growth and curiosity in our youngest learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a supportive and dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math, physical development, and social-emotional skills tailored specifically for infants. Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring their safety at all times. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while maintaining high standards of child welfare. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including scheduling activities, transitions, and rest periods to support optimal learning experiences. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns related to special education or early intervention. Apply effective behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions and emotional regulation among infants. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development progress and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development and Montessori methods. Skills Extensive experience in classroom management and childcare for infants and toddlers. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for early learners. Proficiency in working with children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment. Ability to implement Montessori teaching techniques and integrate literacy education into daily activities. Demonstrated skills in behavior management, classroom organization, and lesson execution within daycare or private school environments. Knowledge of childhood development milestones, preschool experience, and physical education for young children.
