In this dynamic role, you will have engaging lesson plans, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and support children's developmental milestones. Your passion for early childhood education will help shape confident, curious, and well-rounded students ready to thrive in their academic journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool and school-age children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and ensure a safe, inclusive environment that supports childhood development. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate early intervention strategies and support children with special educational needs. Foster strong communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure clear understanding of progress and needs. Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order while encouraging independence and social-emotional growth. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies. Support children's welfare by promoting good childcare practices, including toddler care routines and classroom safety protocols. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Knowledge of special education techniques, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Experience with Texas Rising Star and Childcare Licensing Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children.
