We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic teacher with previous experience working in a licensed childcare center. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and creates a positive learning environment, and works well as part of a team. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Engage with children through interactive teaching methods, including storytelling, hands-on activities, and educational games aligned with Montessori principles when applicable. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and learning achievements regularly. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining safety standards in toddler care, preschool activities, and special education settings. Support children with diverse needs by implementing early intervention strategies and adapting lessons for special education requirements. Experience Prior classroom management experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and childhood development. Experience working with children of different ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, preferably within private school or daycare environments. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive classroom behavior and social skills. Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and implementing lesson plans that promote motor skills development. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. High school diploma or GED required. Must pass a background check.
