Job Summary Join our team as a Full-Time Child Care Teacher, where your passion for nurturing and educating young children will make a meaningful difference in their lives. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children across various age groups, from infants to after-school kids. Your approach and dedication will create curiosity, social skills, and early childhood development, setting the foundation for lifelong learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children, supporting their growth while collaborating with a team of passionate educators. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education and developmental milestones. Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times. Engage children in educational activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor individual progress and behavior management strategies to support positive interactions and development. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress and any concerns. Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and health guidelines, to ensure a secure environment for every child. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in classroom management. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Ability to effectively manage behavior and foster positive social interactions among children. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents confidently. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers through nannying or babysitting roles. Knowledge of early childhood curriculum planning and classroom organization techniques.
