Job Description

KinderCare is seeking passionate Teachers for our Leander center to inspire and nurture young children. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging classroom that supports each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, guide play-based learning, and build strong partnerships with families. Working within KinderCare's inclusive, collaborative culture, you'll have opportunities to grow professionally, contribute to curriculum development, and make a meaningful impact on children's early learning and confidence every day. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and learning activities aligned with early childhood standards Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and classroom activities Maintain classroom organization, safety, and cleanliness in line with center policies Observe, document, and assess children's development and learning milestones Collaborate with center staff to plan programs, events, and continuous improvement efforts Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations and Kinder Care policies Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Lesson planning and documentation Parent and family communication Child behavior guidance Safety and health compliance Observation and assessment of children Basic computer and record-keeping skills Team collaboration in educational settings
