About Happy Hippopotamus Daycare Academy Happy Hippopotamus Daycare Academy is a family-owned childcare center in Longview, Texas, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 0-12. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, meaningful interactions, and a balance of teacher-led and child-led learning experiences. Our center proudly follows Texas Rising Star standards and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education, strong family partnerships, and a supportive team environment. We are seeking passionate, dependable professionals who love working with children and are committed to helping our center continue to grow and excel. Position 1: 4-Year-Old Teacher We are currently seeking an experienced and energetic teacher for our 4-Year-Old classroom. The ideal candidate will create a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while implementing curriculum(frog street), building positive relationships with children and families, and preparing children for future school success. Experience in a licensed childcare setting and knowledge of early childhood development are preferred. Position 2: TRS & Program Quality Coordinator We are also seeking a highly organized and motivated TRS & Program Quality Coordinator to help support and maintain our Texas Rising Star standards. This position will work closely with administration and teaching staff to ensure classroom quality, curriculum implementation, documentation, teacher coaching, professional development, and continuous quality improvement efforts throughout the center. Experience with Texas Rising Star, classroom observations, curriculum, and childcare licensing requirements is strongly preferred. Happy Hippopotamus Daycare Academy 2603 W.
