Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing environment for young children to learn, grow, and thrive. In this vital role, you will support classroom activities, supervise children, and assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate programs. Your positive energy and commitment to child safety will ensure a welcoming space that promotes curiosity, social skills, and early childhood development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Duties Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and engaging children in educational play Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid procedures Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire Classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every child.
