Job Duties:
Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety. Assist with feeding, dressing, toileting, and other daily needs. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and learning experiences. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom or play area. Help children develop social, emotional, and communication skills. Follow daily schedules for meals, naps, playtime, and learning activities. Observe children and report any concerns to the supervisor or parent. Communicate professionally with parents and other staff members. Follow all daycare policies, safety procedures, and state licensing requirements. Assist with cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and activity areas.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred or required. Experience working with children preferred. Ability to supervise and care for children in a safe and positive environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, dependability, and the ability to work well with children and parents. Ability to follow daycare policies and safety procedures. Must be able to pass a background check. CPR and First Aid certification may be required or preferred. Ability to lift and carry children when necessary. Must meet any applicable state licensing or childcare training requirements.
