Child Development Associate Certification Teaching Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Overview:
Wee Learn Center is looking for a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment where young children can learn and grow.Duties:
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of each child.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play and exploration.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, considering their unique interests, talents, and learning styles.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect and cooperation among students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage young learners in language arts, math, science, art, music, and other subjects.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and age-appropriate discipline strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to support continuous professional development.
- Adhere to all school policies and regulations related to childcare and early childhood education.
Experience:
- Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and early childhood education principles.
- Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with daycare operations, caregiving practices, and preschool curriculum development.
