In this role, you will support children's growth and development through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Ensure the safety of children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and potty training for infants and toddlers. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and social skills development. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required Must have references Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler care techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and caregivers. Ability to manage behavior through positive reinforcement and age-appropriate discipline strategies. Passion for nurturing children's growth while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
