Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschoolers, incorporating Montessori methods and other educational philosophies as appropriate. Foster strong communication with children to support their emotional welfare, behavior management, and overall growth. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress through assessments and standardized testing when applicable. Support children with special education needs or early intervention programs to ensure all students receive the necessary care and attention. Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, student progress, and incident reports in compliance with childcare regulations. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs. Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to create an organized learning environment. Knowledge of special education practices and working with children with diverse learning needs is highly desirable. Previous experience in private schools or daycare centers will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members while fostering a positive educational atmosphere.
