Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher and ignite a lifelong love of learning in young children! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, Bible-based and educational environment that fosters growth, curiosity, spiritual and social-emotional development. Your passion for working with children and expertise in early childhood education will inspire young minds and support their developmental milestones. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your teaching skills in a lively, supportive setting. Duties Implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Engage children in hands-on activities that support their cognitive, emotional, and physical growth, including lessons on math, literacy education, Bible and physical education. Support toddlers and preschoolers with specialized needs by applying principles of special education and early intervention when necessary. All of our education will be based in Christ-centered curriculum. Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that promotes child welfare and adheres to all school and state regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, share best practices in educational philosophies and spiritual growth and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is highly valued. Teaching certificate comes with higher starting wage Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields; classroom experience is advantageous. Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social interactions.
