Duties Provide attentive care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social skills, and emotional well-being. Ensure safety by adhering to first aid protocols and maintaining a secure environment at all times. Support children's individual needs through personalized caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, daily routines, and any concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area and ensure all toys and equipment are safe and sanitized. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool classrooms, babysitting, nannying or early childhood education programs are preferred but not required. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for caring for infants through preschool-aged children. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; training can be provided if necessary. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally. Familiarity with childcare regulations, safety standards, and caregiving best practices. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
