Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant Teacher/Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will provide nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that promotes growth and learning. As a Floater Teacher, you will also support classroom needs across different groups, stepping in where needed to maintain a smooth daily operation. The Infant/Toddler, floater Teacher provides responsive, relationship‑based care and implements developmentally appropriate experiences that support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role ensures a safe, predictable environment and maintains full compliance with Texas Child Care Regulation (CCR) Minimum Standards and Texas Rising Star (TRS) quality expectations. Child Supervision & Care Provide warm, responsive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, safe sleep, and toileting routines. Maintain active supervision and required CCR ratios at all times. Support toddlers with potty‑training using positive guidance. Ensure safe transitions throughout the day. Learning & Development Implement age‑appropriate, play‑based activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Engage children in meaningful interactions that build vocabulary, curiosity, and emotional regulation. Adapt activities to meet individual needs and developmental stages. Assist with lesson plan implementation and classroom engagement. Floater Classroom Support Provide coverage across multiple classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and smooth operations. Step in during teacher breaks, meetings, or busy periods. Support classroom management, organization, and daily routines. Engage children in activities and maintain a positive, consistent environment. Health, Safety & Compliance Follow all CCR rules for sanitation, safe sleep, diapering, food service, and daily routines. Maintain clean, organized, hazard‑free learning spaces. Complete required documentation (attendance, diapering logs, incident reports, etc.). Report concerns or injuries promptly and professionally. Family & Team Communication Communicate daily with families about routines, milestones, and classroom highlights. Collaborate with coworkers to maintain consistent expectations and high‑quality care. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and TRS professional development. Experience Prior experience working with infants or young children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children in a professional manner. Must be able to lift 20lbs and up Must be able to stand long periods and sit on the floor to participate in activities. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required to ensure child safety at all times.

$9.50 - $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
