Daily Responsibilities:

Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills Developing and implementing lesson plans Communicating appropriately and professionally with children, parents and fellow staff Meeting Goddard Quality Assurance and CT state licensing requirements Using and completing assessment tools Meeting the individual needs of the children including feeding and diapering/potty training Participating in staff and training meetings

Qualifications:

Required, early childhood education Preferred, prekindergarten lead teacher Past experience in education Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
