In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, from infants to preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, promote positive behavior, and support families in their child's growth journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Provide attentive care to infants and/or preschoolers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Incorporate early intervention techniques and specialized education strategies for children with additional needs or learning differences. Lead engaging lessons that include literacy education, math activities, physical education, and creative play to stimulate early childhood development. Follow mandated reporting laws diligently by documenting concerns related to child welfare or safety and reporting them promptly to appropriate authorities. Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants and preschoolers. Skilled in behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions and emotional regulation. Excellent classroom management skills to organize activities effectively and maintain a safe environment. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergencies.
