Daycare Teacher

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team in Midlothian, TX. The Daycare Teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. This position involves supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and supervision for children in a daycare setting Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and play Support children's emotional, social, and developmental growth Teach basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers, and early learning concepts Monitor children during meals, playtime, and rest periods Communicate daily with parents about their child's activities and progress Follow all Texas childcare licensing and safety regulations Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working in childcare, preschool, or daycare preferred CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and patience when working with children Ability to work well in a team environment Must pass background check according to Texas childcare regulations
