Classroom Aide

Hours for this position are M-F. We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and nurturing person to support our classroom teachers in providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. This role is hands-on and requires someone who is proactive, attentive, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teacher with daily classroom routines and activities Supervise children to ensure safety at all times Support children with basic care needs (diapering, feeding, toileting, rest time) Engage with children through play, learning activities, and conversation Help implement lesson plans and classroom activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Assist with transitions (meals, playground, nap time, etc.) Observe and report children's behavior and development to lead teacher Communicate professionally with staff and families when needed

Flexibility & Classroom Coverage:

Expected to confidently step into classroom roles when needed due to teacher absences Must be able to manage a classroom, maintain supervision, and keep routines running smoothly Ability to work across multiple classrooms and age groups as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required) At least 18 Years Old Experience working with children preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Patient, nurturing, and reliable Must meet all state licensing requirements (background check, preservice training, etc.)

Pay:
