In this rewarding role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and development. Your passion for working with children will inspire learning through engaging activities, compassionate caregiving, and positive guidance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills in early childhood education. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies Support children's individual needs by applying principles of childhood development and special education when necessary Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to promote independence and comfort Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents or health concerns Collaborate with parents and team members to ensure each child's needs are met with compassion and professionalism Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods and interactive activities Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and caregivers Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with patience and positive behavior management techniques Embark on a fulfilling career where every day offers new opportunities to nurture young minds.
