Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood education, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity Manage daily classroom activities, behavior, and routines to ensure a positive learning experience Communicate regularly with parents about child progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards while documenting incidents or concerns as required Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention methods, and physical education activities for young children Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in childhood development or preschool teaching are preferred Ability to work effectively with toddlers and young children while fostering a nurturing environment Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join us in shaping the future by providing a joyful, enriching start to every child's educational journey!
