PM Seasonal Position:

May 26, 2026 - August 6, 2026 Kids USA Montessori is looking for an energetic, reliable, and creative Seasonal Summer Camp Teacher to join our summer camp program for children ages 5-12. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys being active with children, can keep campers engaged throughout the day, and creates a fun, safe, and structured environment. This is a hands-on position that requires high energy, patience, multitasking skills, and strong classroom management. Applicants must be available to work consistently throughout the full summer camp season from May 26, 2026 through August 6, 2026. Responsibilities Plan and lead exciting summer camp activities throughout the day Keep children engaged with new activities approximately every 30 minutes Organize games, crafts, outdoor play, STEM activities, team-building activities, water play, music, dance, sports, and creative learning experiences Supervise and actively interact with children during indoor and outdoor activities Maintain classroom structure, safety, and positive behavior expectations Ensure children follow rules, routines, and directions respectfully Create a fun, loving, and energetic classroom atmosphere Communicate professionally with team members and parents Assist with classroom organization, clean-up, and daily camp preparation Be alert, attentive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Help children build friendships, confidence, teamwork, and independence Qualifications Must be reliable, punctual, responsible, and professional Must enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude Strong classroom management and leadership skills required Must be energetic and physically active, including running, playing, dancing, and participating in activities with children Must be a fast thinker and able to multitask effectively Previous experience working with children, camps, schools, childcare centers, or after-school programs preferred Must be able to pass all required background checks Must meet Texas state childcare requirements, including training and eligibility requirements CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must be a team player and willing to help where needed, not limited to classroom support and daily camp activities What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can: ✔ Bring energy and excitement every day ✔ Keep children busy, active, and engaged ✔ Think creatively and quickly ✔ Balance fun with structure and classroom discipline ✔ Create memorable summer experiences for children If you love working with kids, staying active, and creating a fun summer environment, we would love to hear from you!
