Job Description

Job Overview Children's Lighthouse of Rockwall is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Director to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a proven childcare leader who is confident supporting daily school operations, developing teachers, maintaining licensing compliance, building strong family relationships, and helping drive enrollment and retention.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's or associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Business Administration, or a related field Three or more years of childcare leadership experience Previous experience as an Assistant Director, Director, Curriculum Coordinator, or comparable leadership position Strong understanding of Texas Child Care Minimum Standards Experience with staff coaching, scheduling, classroom management, parent communication, and operational accountability Professional communication skills and the ability to lead with consistency, urgency, and care
Pay:
