Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Afternoon Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for infants during the afternoon hours. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere will inspire young children to explore, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the afternoon shift Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and allergy management Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, needs, and any concerns Support individual learning plans for children with special needs or disabilities by collaborating with specialists and adapting activities accordingly Assist with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and other caregiving duties essential to infant care Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare preschool setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience with classroom management techniques tailored to infants and toddlers Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to nurture children's curiosity while maintaining a safe environment Strong communication skills to effectively engage with parents, team members, and children Join us in creating joyful early learning experiences! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
