Full-time Toddler Teacher:

We are searching for fun, passionate, creative, and a loving Toddler Teacher to add to our wonderful staff! The pay rate begins at $12 for an Assistant Teacher and $14 for a Lead Teacher. Lead Teacher qualifications require a CDA or degree in an early childhood related field. We are dedicated to instilling a life-long love of learning, and would love to have you join our team! We are looking for a Teacher who: Possesses a sincere commitment and passion for the care and education of young children Has experience with children in a licensed preschool setting for two or more years Strives to be a part of a cohesive team of teachers Has, or is working toward, a CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree in, or related to, the field of Education or Child Development for a Lead Teaching position. Assistant teacher requirement would be at least two years working in a licensed preschool setting. What are the perks? Highlighted Job Responsibilities Create weekly lesson plans and assessments through Tadpoles Provide positive interactions with the Preschool age group of 24 months to 36 months Encourage through positive modeling, feelings of empathy and respect for others and the environment Provide Families with open communication on a daily basis Conduct Family/Teacher Conferences Follows the Quality Assurance Health and Safety guidelines of The Goddard School Follows the appropriate supervision guidelines including the important step of face to name checks General Qualifications A Teacher must meet the qualifications of his/her state and those set forth in the National Standards for hiring (see www.bls.gov), including the following: Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations Employment is contingent upon clearedDFPS, DPS, and FBI Background Checks Job Type:
