Responsibilities Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, including playtime, meals, naps, and learning sessions. Support classroom teachers by providing coverage across different age groups as needed, ensuring continuity of care. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social-emotional development and curiosity. Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans, to ensure children's well-being at all times. Help implement curriculum activities aligned with early childhood development standards and individual needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms, toys, and supplies to promote a healthy environment. Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress, behaviors, and needs. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
