Full Job Description Job Summary:
(We are closed June, July and part of August) We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, curriculum planning, and classroom management. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and nurturing young minds in a safe, supportive and faith-based environment.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and curiosity
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs
- Manage classroom activities and routines effectively to ensure a structured yet flexible learning environment
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns or challenges
Skills:
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction rooted in faith-based principles.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to effectively educate and engage young children
- Skilled in behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other activities that promote a sense of community and reinforce faith-based values.
