The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles, as well as the ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics effectively. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Provide a safe and supportive environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Engage children in various activities including play, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling to enhance learning. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration. Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures. Requirements Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education practices. Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Proven ability in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment. Experience in caregiving or infant care is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
