Job Summary
NOW HIRING 2 INFANT TEACHERS 2
afternoon positions available from 12-6 pm Monday through Friday Infant 1 class (6 weeks - 12 months) Infant 2 class (12 months - 18 months) Tyler Christian Preschool is a trusted, licensed childcare center in the heart of Tyler. We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for our littlest learners, and our mission is to support child development through play, compassion, and structured daily activities. Come join an award-winning team that our community trusts and loves! Responsibilities Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Plan and implement age-appropriate daily activities, including arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor play. Supervise children, ensuring their physical safety and emotional well-being at all times. Assist with basic needs (meals, snacks, diaper changing, and naptime routines). Build positive, professional relationships with parents and guardians by communicating daily updates and developmental milestones.
Skills Experience:
Previous experience in a licensed daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred but not required. We will train!
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education or CDA certification is a huge plus).
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certified. If you do not have this certification, our director is an instructor and will provide the training for you.
Requirements:
Ability to pass a thorough background and fingerprint check.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

From $10.00 per hour
