Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Infant Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored specifically for toddlers and infants. Your leadership will ensure that each child's unique needs are met through engaging lessons, effective behavior management, and personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence young lives positively while collaborating with a dedicated team committed to early childhood excellence. Duties Develop and implement innovative, age-appropriate curriculum focused on toddler and infant development, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and foundational skills in a safe, nurturing environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior strategies, and transitions to foster positive behavior and emotional well-being among young children. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and support early intervention strategies when necessary. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are maintained. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development using standardized testing methods and document progress for individualized planning. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment aligned with health and safety regulations while promoting an engaging learning space. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers and infants. Proven experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within early childhood settings. Strong understanding of special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and external specialists. Familiarity with Montessori methods, preschool experience, or private school environments is preferred. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learners including those requiring additional support such as speech or behavioral therapy. Competence in childcare practices including toddler care routines, safety protocols, and child welfare standards. $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
