Job Description

Job Summary Shift time: depending on availability, need to be able to stay til 5-6pm We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Early Morning Daycare Infant Teacher to join our vibrant childcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children during the early morning hours. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help set a positive tone for the rest of the day, fostering growth, learning, and happiness in our youngest learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while working in a supportive and dynamic setting. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children during the early morning hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and creativity Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's needs, behaviors, and progress Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and consistent boundaries Collaborate with team members to plan daily routines that support preschool experience, toddler care, and infant care needs Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Ability to engage children through nurturing caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or teaching experience Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members Knowledge of childcare best practices related to infant care, toddler care, and classroom experience Join us in creating a warm, safe space where young children can thrive during their earliest hours!
